Selecting/adding people: Anytime you see an field to select a person from the system, you can start typing a first or last name to imitate a search. Results will appear and you can click on a name to select them. If no results are found you can always add a new person by clicking the "Create New Person" button in the search results. Once a person is selected the pencil icon will display a popup allowing you to edit the person.
Selecting/adding an address: Anytime you see an input to select an address from the system you can start typing any part of the address to imitate a search. Results will appear and you can click on an address to select it. If no results are found you can always add a new address by clicking on the plus icon next to the address search. Once an address is selected, clicking the pencil icon will display a popup allowing you to edit the address.
Kennel/Location: The location of the animal
Re-Evaluate: The date to re-evaluate the case
Delivered By: The person that delivered the animal
Found Address: The address/street the animal was found - Fills in the intake district if present
Fostered By: The person currently fostering the animal, if applicable
Transport: How the animal was brought in (required)
Intake Date: The date an time of intake (auto-filled) (required)
Staff (Intake): The staff that did the intake (auto-filled) (required)
District/Location: A user-defined area where found
Condition: The condition of the animal (required)
Animal Control Officer: Only lists people marked "ACO" on the person screen
Incident ID: A place to store an external tracking ID (like for animal control)
Owner at intake: The person that owned the animal on intake, if applicable
Disposition Date: The date of disposition (auto-filled)
District/Location: A user-defined area for the disposition, auto-filled from owner at disposition if available
Owner at disposition: Auto-fills to the animal owner if one was present
Staff (Disposition): The staff that did the disposition (auto-filled)
Euthanized By: Only lists people marked "Can Euthanize" on the person screen
Which case fees are added are set up under Settings | Cases
Payments can also be made from this section for existing (not new) cases by clicking the "Apply Payment" button.
